On September 19 - 20, 2015 The American Legions Americanism Division will conduct a Junior Shooting Sports Program Chairman's Conference Session.

The conference session will be held in Indianapolis, IN and is for all American Legion Junior Shooting Sports Program Department Chairmen and or their designees.

25th Annual American Legion Junior Three Position Air Rifle National Championship

The field for the 25th Annual American Legion Junior Three Position Air Rifle National Championships has been set!

In November 1,503 athletes entered the preliminary postal round for the 2015 individual competition for a chance to qualify for Championship.

The Championship will be held July 21 – 25, 2015 at the USA Shooting range facility located at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The winners in both the Precision and Sporter category will each receive a $5,000.00 college scholarship provided in part by The American Legion and The Sons of the American Legion. The two winners will also receive an expense paid trip to Baltimore, Maryland, in Baltimore they will be honored as part of the Youth Champions Delegation during the American Legion National Convention August 28 – September 1, 2015.

And also for the first time in the championship’s 25-year history, an annual $1,000.00 college scholarship will be awarded to the second place finishers in both the Sporter and Precision categories. This scholarship is being generously provided by The American Legion Auxiliary.
