Davis, Rajai

A New London Post 9 (Conn.) alum, Davis became the first player in history to hit a game-tying home run in the eighth inning or later of a World Series Game 7.

deGrom, Jacob

Jacob deGrom played for the 2006 Florida Champs and hosted the Southeast Regional that same year. Played shortstop most of Legion Baseball career, wasn’t until college at Stetson University he began pitching. He now pitches for the New York Mets.

Doerr, Bobby

A 1986 Hall of Famer and nine-time All-Star, Doerr missed the 1945 season serving in the Army during World War II. He played American Legion Baseball in Los Angeles.

Dozier, Brian

An All-Star second baseman and an emerging star for the Twins, Brian Dozier played for Post 49’s Tupelo 49ers in Mississippi from 2002-2005. Dozier's history includes a 20/20 season, a Home Run Derby entry and a Gold Glove finalist nomination.

Drysdale, Don

A nine-time All-Star, a three-time World Series champion and 1962 NL Cy Young Award winner, Drysdale was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1984. He struck out 2,486 batters and finished with an ERA of 2.95. He played Legion Baseball in Van Nuys, Calif.
